Friend Community Healthcare System Board of Directors is proud to announce the selection of the organization’s next Chief Executive Officer, Mr. John Wilson.

Wilson holds a Master’s in Health Services Administration from the University of Arkansas and has 14 years of progressive healthcare leadership experience. Most recently he served as Chief Operating Officer for the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services where he oversaw nine clinic locations, four skilled nursing facilities and 260+ health services staff. Wilson is no stranger to the community as he previously served as CEO at FCHS from May 2007 – May 2013.

“I am looking forward to working with staff, board members, community leaders and other stakeholders to build on the current momentum following recent bond vote,” said John Wilson. “My initial focus will be on team building, recruiting, working with stakeholders to complete the generator project and strategies for new sustainable revenue streams.”

“The FCHS Board of Directors is happy to have John Wilson as the new CEO of Friend Community Healthcare System,” said Jennifer Stutzman, FCHS Board of Directors. “One of the qualities we were most looking for is a passion for the community. We found that in John along with so much more. Please help us welcome John back to the community.”

Wilson will assume his role as Chief Executive Officer on July 2.
